Volunteering for VVOA: Fun, rewarding and a great chance to meet like-minded people

Have you ever thought of volunteering for Vegans & Vegetarians of Alberta but weren’t sure you had enough knowledge?

Or didn’t know what you could do?

We have lots of volunteer committees and jobs and we would love to have you on board. Even if you are not sure join us for our Volunteer Orientation meeting on Wednesday, July 7th at 7:00 p.m.

Bring a vegetarian, vegan or raw vegan dish to serve at least 6 people plus your own plate, cup, cutlery and serving spoon. Also, bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on.

Each person attending the potluck is asked to bring a homemade vegetarian, vegan or raw vegan dish for at least 6 people, a serving spoon, your own plate and utensils. Thus if two people attend together, they would bring two dishes or one larger dish (eg. a 9 x 13 inch pan).

Bring a copy of your recipe to share with others if you can.

For a touch of festive good spirit, bring some holiday wares and decorations to adorn the tables!
