Overview: internationally acclaimed author on cities and urban form, Anthony King will discuss global trends in architecture and planning and its lessons for local designers, architects, and decision-makers. Dr. King will speak on global building types such as arenas/stadiums, art galleries, airport terminals, retail parks, and internationalized models for downtown housing. Dr. King is Emeritus Professor of Art & Architectural History at Binghamton University in New York, and has done extensive research throughout Europe, China and Asia, and the US.
