Watershed Restoration
Stream Rehabilitation Training
In partnership with Trout Unlimited Canada (TUC), the City of Calgary will be offering the Stream Rehabilitation Training Program begining fall 2019. The workshops provide up-to-date information on the science and best practices of rehabilitating stream ecosystems and their watersheds. The course demonstrates how we integrate disciplines through a systems approach, by providing students with an understanding of watershed and stream dynamics, assessment and monitoring, rehabilitation planning and implementation. This course will provide a great education for anyone interested in on the ground restoration including conservationists, stewardship groups, students, researchers, and professionals. Read More
