Stream Rehabilitation Training
In partnership with Trout Unlimited Canada (TUC), the City of Calgary will be offering the Stream Rehabilitation Training Program begining fall 2019. The workshops provide up-to-date information on the science and best practices of rehabilitating stream ecosystems and their watersheds. The course demonstrates how we integrate disciplines through a systems approach, by providing students with an understanding of watershed and stream dynamics, assessment and monitoring, rehabilitation planning and implementation. This course will provide a great education for anyone interested in on the ground restoration including conservationists, stewardship groups, students, researchers, and professionals.
