Calgary Architecture and Design Week (CA+D week) is an exciting opportunity for designers, educators, thinkers and the public to discuss, celebrate and promote the good design of our city on every level.

Calgary is the path to becoming a centre of excellence in city design that successfully integrates our natural environment with our human nature. This is "eco-urban planning and design" - the theme of CA+D week 2005. Our city is well situated to provide leadership in this area, and Calgary Architecture and Design Week is a forum to promote this aspiration.

CA+D week brings the broad 'design community' together with interested members of the public to celebrate the successes, discuss the issues and ultimately promote high standards for the future design of Calgary. Public participation encourages broad scale awareness and appreciation of successful city-building.
