Lecture - "Cancer: 101 Solutions to a Preventable Epidemic."
Guy Dauncey is a speaker, author, and organizer who works to develop a positive vision of a sustainable future, and to translate that vision into action.

He is author of the award-winning book Stormy Weather: 101 Solutions to Global Climate Change; Cancer: 101 Solutions to a Preventable Epidemic, and 9 other titles. He is President of the BC Sustainable Energy Association (www.bcsea.org), Co-chair of Prevent Cancer Now; Executive Director of The Solutions Project; and Publisher of EcoNews, a monthly newsletter that promotes the vision of a sustainable Vancouver Island.

Location: Library Theatre, Lower Level, Stanley A. Milner Library, 102nd Avenue and 99th Street

VoA monthly potluck dinner at Riverdale Hall, 9231 - 100 Avenue
Time: 5.30 to 7.30
Cost: Members $3 and Non-Members $5

Please bring a Vegan, Vegetarian or Raw food dish to serve at least 8 people.
Also, please bring your own dishes and cutlery - limited supplies at Riverdale.

The VoA world famous Vegan Recipe books and Edmonton Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant guides will be available, not to mention the renowned and extremely sexy VoA T-Shirts.

Edmonton EARTH DAY celebration at Hawrelak Park
Time: 12 noon to 6 pm.
Vegetarian Food, Eco-displays, Live Music and Entertainment, Drumming, Demonstrations, Celebrities, Circle Dances, Special ETS buses. VoA will be there along with all the Edmonton and area ecological and social justice organizations. Come and welcome Spring.
