In 2006, the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (Y2Y) commissioned the <a href="http://www.coe.montana.edu/wti/">Western Transportation Institute (WTI)</a> at Montana State University to undertake a review to determine the state of the Upper Bow watershed between Bow Glacier and the Seebe dam. The results of this research will inform future projects to improve ecological integrity and the state of the native fishery within Banff and downstream.
