YYC Young Citizen Scientists: Urban Wildlife (Ages 12-16)

Are you a parent looking to continue environmental education at home? Or are you a student passionate about learning more about our planet earth? CPAWS-SAB wants to bring interactive learning into your homes!

As part of the Ultimate Summer Challenge being hosted by the Calgary Public Library, CPAWS-SAB will be putting on 6 virtual presentations for youth. These presentations will include visuals, activities, and discussions. See below for more details on each event.

Join CPAWS and Green Calgary as you become a citizen scientist with this fun-filled program. Discover which species survive right here in Calgary, explore the struggles they face, and hone your wildlife identification skills. Then, go out and take action to help threatened animals. In the end, you too will be a certified citizen scientist!
