Why should we care about headwaters?

CPAWS Northern Alberta will be travelling to Grande Prairie and Peace River to give presentations about the conservation of the headwaters from August 28th to August 30th.

CPAWS Northern Alberta will be giving a presentation on the conservation issues in the Grande Prairie area, on the importance of the headwaters of the Peace and Athabasca rivers, their role in climate change mitigation, and the impacts downstream that could occur if they are not protected!
