The Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute has monitored over 40 species of mammals and their habitats across the province since 2007. In this talk, we’ll describe opportunities and challenges of monitoring biodiversity at a provincial scale, walk through the process the sampling for mammals, and describe how this information can be used by stakeholders and decision-makers.
