A Climate of Change - Season 2, Episode 5: Matthew Chapman

January 21, 2021 - 7:05pm

From the Calgary Climate Hub website:

This month our guest is Matthew Chapman of Climate Reality Project Canada. As the national Community Climate Hub Manager, Matthew is responsible for leveraging Climate Reality Leaders and their networks to decarbonize communities through grassroots solution-building, managing Regional Organizers who support local, citizen-led Hubs in communities across the country, spurring data-driven decisions via the National Climate League and co-chairing the Cities Caucus of Climate Action Network Canada.

The Climate Reality Project's mission is to create a global sense of urgency on climate change and catalyze a planet-wide shift to clean energy to solve it. Founded and chaired by Nobel Laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, it shares the truth of climate disruption with communities around the world and empower people everywhere with the knowledge and tools to help us create a sustainable future. With the solutions to climate change already in our hands, CRP brings citizens across continents together through social media, on-the-ground events, global broadcasts, and other initiatives to demand action and make world leaders listen.
