A combination of camping and hiking in the Lakeland boreal forest.
Distance: Hiking 5 - 15 km per day.
Elevation Gain: minimal
Setting up camp in the wonderous confines of Lakeland Provincial Park, we will spend two days exploring the natural wonders of Alberta's boreal forest. On our daily excursions we will marvel at the array of plants and animals that make this part of the world a unique blend of forest and wetland.
This trip is rated as Moderate, with modest daily outings on foot.
Please Note: The fee for this event includes any applicable Lakeland Provincial Park camping fees for three nights.
