At CASA’s June Board meeting, a Statement of Opportunity was presented on non-point source air emissions. A clear outcome of the discussion was the Board’s decision to convene a small, one day workshop on non-point source air emissions. The purpose of the workshop will be to explore potential areas of work for a Non-Point Source Air Emissions project, and to provide advice for the Board’s consideration as they discuss whether this is an appropriate issue for CASA to address. This will be a one day workshop, to be held in Calgary on October 23, 2013.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of receipts.
Four (4) spaces have been allotted for members of the Alberta Environmental Network. The following are some considerations for who should participate:
- Interest or expertise in non-point source air emissions.
- Able and willing to consider non-point source air emissions on a strategic provincial level.
- Able to participate for the full day workshop.
- Committed to reviewing reading materials in preparation for the workshop. Materials will be sent to participants approximately one month prior to the workshop.
If you would like to put forward representatives, please provide AEN Clean Air Caucus Coordinator Glenn Isaac with the following:
- Participant name

- AEN member organization
- Brief summary of why you would be good delegate for this workshop based on the information provided
Send submissions no later than August 30, 2013 to Glenn at [email protected].
