Wildflower Seed and Sow

Armed with a basket and trowel, you will harvest seeds from native Gumweed and Golden Aster, then sow them in targeted areas to help restore the native grassland community. Antelope-friendly Fences

Help make barbed wire fences around our Haugan Property easier for Pronghorn to cross.  You do not need any particular skill, but bring a hammer if you can. After a couple of hours work, we will hike to a wetland with a spectacular view of the Sweetgrass Hills. This event requires registration at www.conservationvolunteers.ca.

Badland Exploration

Venture into the badlands along Forty Mile Coulee with a snake expert. The small Stebanuk Property is home to seventeen Species At Risk, and we are likely to see many of these.  If we are lucky, the elusive Short-horned Lizard will be spotted.
