11th Annual Run Wild for Wildlife
The 11th annual Run/Walk Wild for Wildlife is Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton’s biggest fundraiser and will be held on October 23,2010 at Hawrelak Park. Funds raised at this event will go directly to helping the over 1,000 wildlife patients that the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society treats every year.
Participants can dress up as their favourite wildlife animal, participate in the walk/run, and win some amazing prizes! Join us for this fun, family-friendly event.

Climb and Run for Wilderness is Alberta Wilderness Association's annual Earth Day celebration at the Calgary Tower. Participants collect sponsorship money to allow them the unique opportunity to climb the 802 stairs inside the Calgary Tower. You can climb as an individual or in a team of four, as many times as you wish. It is a great opportunity to get some exercise, learn about wilderness and wildlife conservation work in Alberta, win some outstanding prizes and have lots of fun. Read More

CPAWS Fundraiser: Spin Around the Clock!
Work off those chocolate bunny calories ahead of time, while supporting CPAWS!
CPAWS Northern Alberta is assembling a team of people to participate in the Livia Stoyke Foundation's 24-hour Spin fundraiser. The Foundation provides vital support to a variety of causes (women, children, poverty relief, the arts and the environment) and to organizations like CPAWS.
What 's involved?
Sign up to a cycling shift on the CPAWS bike (for any number of hours), and commit to obtaining at least $20 in pledges (CPAWS will subsidize $30 of the $50 registration fee). During the event at West Edmonton Mall, you can check out an array of bands and performers, cycle your shift, enjoy tasty food, and enter into a draw for cool prizes - like a 1 week rental of a deluxe houseboat.
