With the holidays over, find a great new home for your Christmas tree. From the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton's Facebook page:
We are in need of christmas trees - real or not - and would love it if you could spread the word. We use christmas trees in a lot of our enclosures for the patients we have and they are great for habitat enrichment and perching. If you would like to donate a christmas tree, please clean it off of any decorations. Unfortunately we can't use trees that have lights attached to them. If you would like to donate, you can call us at 780-433-0884. Donated trees can be dropped off at our location in Spruce Grove, which is about 10-15 minutes from WEM. Thank you!
