Fast food, fast medicine, fast news and fast lives have turned many Americans into a sick, uninformed, indebted, “processed” people. This film begins at 7 pm at Whitemud Crossing Library (4211 106 Street). All of our films are free, but donations are always appreciated.

Raising a vegan or vegetarian child? Interested in raising your child or children as vegetarian or vegan? Fantastic! Held earlier than the rest of our information sessions, feel free to bring your children out to this event. Volunteers will be present to entertain the next generation while you hear first-hand accounts, tips and support from vegan mom, Emily Bourne. Each person attending the potluck is asked to bring a vegetarian, vegan or raw dish for at least 6 people, a serving spoon, your own plate and utensils. Thus if two people attend together, they would bring two dishes or one larger dish (eg. a 9 x 13 inch pan).

As the picnic tables will be used to serve food, please bring a blanket or camping chair to sit on. Frisbees are fun for after the meal too!

Thus if two people attend together, they would bring two dishes or one larger dish (eg. a 9 x 13 inch pan). Bring a copy of your recipe to share with others if you can. Note that there is a raw section. Dads, why not give mom a break on her special day and do the cooking!
