Focus: Discovering and eliminating the toxins found in everyday items

The Solar Energy Society of Canada and Grant MacEwan College present an expanded eight-week evening class focusing on Energy Efficiency; Solar Electricity; Solar Hot Water; Passive Solar Design, Non-toxic building and Green Transportation.
Come out for a day of fun while learning great ways to be environmentally sustainable! The Green Festival will include eco-business displays, sustainable living lectures, childrens’ crafts from common household reuseables, family activities, tours of the Garden’s famous indoor Butterfly House and Kurimoto Japanese Garden, and door prizes.

The next monthly meeting of the Sierra Club Canada’s Chinook Group is on
Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7 pm at the Calgary Area Outdoor Council (CAOC) building
