Hurry - application deadline is coming up August 31, 2005!
The RCA is seeking nominations for its 2005 Rs of Excellence Awards.
If you know a person, program or organization that has made an outstanding contribution towards waste reduction, please let us know.
Application is simple:
Submit a brief description of the nominee’s achievements, and why you think they deserve an award. Criteria that will be considered in reviewing applications include the following:
- Environmental impacts (i.e. quantified reductions in waste)
- Innovation and progressiveness
- Leadership
- History and track record
- Overall environmental commitment
Please include contact information for the nominee as well as for yourself. A minimum of two letters of support are also requested to accompany the application.

Awards will be presented at the RCA’s Fall Conference “Starve a Landfill Feed the Future”, October 12-14, 2005, held in conjunction with the Composting Council of Canada’s national conference.
