Training Outcomes

After the workshop it is envisaged that participants will:

  • Understand the importance of government relations work and have the confidence to carry it forward;
  • Know about tools available for advocacy planning and implementation;
  • Be aware of the range of skills needed to do government relations work;
  • Be able to identify who they need to influence; and
  • Use the training materials as a ready reference guide and adapt them to the local context.
