Wild West Gala: A Celebration of Wildlife and Wild Spaces in Alberta

Sep 25 2015 - 6:00pm

From the AWA website:

The 27th annual Wild West Gala is a celebration of AWA’s 50th anniversary. This is the best foot-stompin’, fun-lovin’ great-eats-and-fine-wine evening of the season. There’s plenty to celebrate after 50 years of conservation and it is a great time to meet new friends and old.

Entertainent for the night will be provided by Horizon Ridge. Horizon Ridge is a group of fine singers, songwriters and players with a passion for all kinds of musical adventures.  Multi-instrumentalists Craig Blakney, Dianne Quinton, Steve Goodchild, Helen Goodchild and Peter May blend capable voices and diverse backgrounds to bring a respectful appreciation for different styles to the songs they play.  Their influences include blues, country, rock, traditional & contemporary folk, and gospel.  They also enjoy performing a cappella. Their repertoire includes a variety of covers and original compositions.  The band members have played in folk festivals, folk clubs and concerts in Alberta, the U.S. and U.K.

Please join us for a great night out!
