The next Watershed Ambassador Breakfast will share the history of paddling down the Red Deer River during the times of the Canadian Fur Trade (1779 - 1821). Warm up with a hot breakfast as the winter approaches and enjoy some great stories of the Red Deer River's pioneer paddlers!

Presenter: Peter Allen is an Albertan and experienced canoeist who is very knowledgeable of western Canadian history; specifically, the Canadian Fur Trade of the North West Company and the Hudson's Bay Company.

Synopsis: Peter will share with us the history of paddling on the Red Deer River with stories from the Fur Trade era (1779 - 1821).

Come hear some great stories of our cultural history and help us recognize the next round of central Albertans as stewards of the Red Deer River Watershed! See below for a link to the nomination form.
