"Water in Focus" Photo Exhibition

Apr 26 2012 - 7:00pm - 10:00pm

The North Saskatchewan Riverkeeper (NSRK) is proud to present the 1st annual "Water in Focus" photo exhibition from 7 to 10 pm on Thursday April 26, 2012. The event will be hosted by NSRK Chairperson and President, Karen Percy Lowe. The Yellowhead Brewery's historic red brick building, located 10229-105 Street, in downtown Edmonton will be transformed into a gallery for an evening of photography, live beats, and local food and beer. Funds raised from this inaugural event will help support NSRK youth and community watershed stewardship education activities.

Let our winning amateur Canadian photographers take you through the lens to the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, across international waters, through ice and snow, and back to the beach as we celebrate the beauty of water in our city and around the globe. You'll also get to vote for your favourite in the "People's Choice Award" of the evening. In addition to some great door prizes and silent auction items, all of the professionally enlarged and mounted photos exhibited will be available for purchase to the highest bidder. Limited reprints can be ordered as well.

Tickets for the "Water in Focus" Photo Exhibition can be purchased for $40 each. Space is limited. To purchase tickets click the link below. For more information contact glenn [at] saskriverkeeper [dot] ca (subject: Photo%20Contest) (Glenn Isaac) or by phone: 780-554-3848.
