Tar Sands & Nuclear action meet-up and discussion

What? A call out for concerned Calgarians to meet and discuss what the tar sands developments and the prospect of nuclear power mean for us and how we as Calgarians can and should respond. Bring action ideas and opportunities you are already engaged with and find out what new and exciting opportunities exist with the Sierra Club of Canada!

Who? Students or seniors alike concerned about how these developments are affecting Alberta's environment, health and human rights standards or economic sustainability.

Why? The movement opposing the tar sands is growing all over Alberta. In many ways it is of most importance in Calgary, the heartland of tar sand investment and ownership and some of the most influential government MLAs and MPs.
