Jan 20 2010 - 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Dry Spring: The Coming Water Crisis of North America by Chris Wood

Facilitated by Noel Keough, founder and director of Sustainable Calgary

Dry Spring is about the coming water crisis and what we need to do to prevent it. Woods focuses on the U.S. Southwest, B.C.’s Okanagan, and the Great Lakes area as case studies in the coming scarcity. He explains how even as the world dries, some parts are getting more violently stormy. And he describes inspiring choices by which we can save this precious resource for our future.
