Sturgeon River Watershed Initiative AGM

Oct 30 2008 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

The Sturgeon River Watershed Initiative is holding its first Annual General Meeting on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at St. Albert Place, St. Albert from 6 - 8 pm.

The AGM provides an opportunity for interested individuals and organizations to become a member of the Sturgeon River Watershed Initiative as well as an opportunity to elect the first Board of Directors.

The Sturgeon River is a historical river that provides essential riparian habitat for humans, plants and animals to enjoy, live beside and within. A healthy watershed provides many benefits, including provision of clean water, clean air, and productive soil, leading to a more sustainable economy and a better quality of life.

For more information on the Sturgeon River Watershed Initiative, visit or call Leah Jackson at (780) 459-1746.
