Stewardship Training Workshop

This workshop will focus on the stewardship of conservation lands and differentiate between what should be done on conservation easement properties and what should be done on lands that are owned.

It will cover:

  • Baseline Documentation Report - why is is important, what it should include, when it should be prepared, and associated best practices
  • Stewardship Monitoring - why monitoring is important, what steps are involved, what should be included in a report, how often it should be done and by whom, and associated best practices
  • Stewardship Funding - why it is important, how to determine how much is needed, how to assess your current stewardship funding situation, and associated best practices
  • Beneficial Management Practices - what are the best management practices for conserved lands
