SMLS Public Lecture - Climate Change Law and Policy in a Post-Paris Agreement World

The Faculty of Law and the Canadian Institute of Resources Law invite you to attend a free public lecture on Climate Change Law and Policy in a Post-Paris Agreement World.

This Saturday Morning in the Law School will begin with an overview of the existing international law framework relating to climate change, tracing its evolution from the UNFCCC, to the Kyoto Protocol, the Copenhagen Accord and finally the Paris Agreement. The session will then turn to discuss existing federal provincial climate change legislation and the developing policy and legislative framework going forward.

Sharon Mascher is a Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary and an Honorary Fellow at the Faculty of Law, University of Western Australia. She teaches and publishes in the area of climate change law and policy.
