Should Alberta Go Nuclear?

Join an expert from Citizens Advocating the Use of Sustainable Energy on Friday, June 19th at the Cambrian Heights Community Association (600 Northmount Drive N.W.) for a presentation and discussion of the future of nuclear power in Alberta. You will have the opportunity to learn about the current proposal to build nuclear power plants in Northern Alberta, as well as lessons learned from other nuclear installations across the country. Does Alberta have a looming energy shortage? Can renewables and energy conservation be employed to avoid electricity shortages? These questions and the Pembina Institute’s report on renewable energy will also be addressed. Admission is free, and doors open at 7:00.
