  • 11:30am-12:20pm Food and the City: urban agriculture around the world in 50 slides
    Jennifer Cockrall-King is an Edmonton writer and author of Food and the City: Urban Agriculture and the New Food Revolution. She travelled to five countries and dozens of cities which are at the forefront of putting food production at the centre of their urban environments while writing her book. Join her for a gorgeous garden-hopping slideshow to visit urban farms, community gardens and urban agriculture projects from Paris, London, Toronto, Vancouver, Cuba, Chicago and Detroit.
  • 12:30pm-1:20pm Shoulder Season Gardening & Urban Farming with Kevin Kossowan
  • 1:30pm-2:20pm Permaculture,Gardening, and Societal Change  with  Jordan Wilson 
  • 2:30pm-4:00pm Multicultural Intergenerational Gardening Panel
    Kathryn Gwun-Yee Lennon will talk about community building through gardening and will be joined by Francisco Huezo of the Wecan Community Garden and Jesus Meija from Generations Gardening and Growing Together.
