Saturday Morning at the Law School — Water Law 101 Public Lecture

The Canadian Institute of Resources Law is hosting a free public lecture by Arlene Kwasniak, Professor Emerita of Law, titled  Water Law 101 as part of the Saturday Morning at the Law School series. Water Law 101 will highlight the importance of water in Alberta and the need for sound and sustainable management. It will provide a summary of how government regulates the use of water through legislated water rights, and will describe the nature of those rights. The lecture will highlight key Alberta water policy issues, including about securing water for ecosystem and human needs, and about Aboriginal water rights.
