Jeff Bell is an Edmonton-based Policy Analyst with the Pembina Institute researching clean, efficient electricity options for Alberta. He specializes in electrical grid optimization via the incorporation of intelligent grid infrastructure and small­scale renewable and energy efficient generators. He has been the Program Director at the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy (WADE) as well as the Assistant to the Editor of Cogeneration and Onsite Power Production Magazine and sits on Industry Canada's Joint Working Group on Net Metering. He holds a BSc from the University of Alberta and a Masters in Environmental Studies from Dalhousie University.
