Through reflection, song and interactive practices we will rediscover our courage and solidarity, to act for the future of life on earth and be part of the great turning. No danger of this present time can alter the fact that we are living members of the living Earth, like cells in her larger body. Nothing can ever separate us from the wonder and majesty of this reality. To realize that holds us steady, and empowers us to celebrate and serve.

Eco-philosopher Joanna Macy, Ph.D., is a scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory, and deep ecology. A respected voice in movements for peace, justice, and ecology, she interweaves her scholarship with four decades of activism. Joanna Macy's work helps people transform despair and apathy, in the face of overwhelming social and ecological crises, into constructive, collaborative action. Joanna travels widely giving lectures, workshops, and trainings in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. She lives in Berkeley, California. Visit Joanna’s web site at www.joannamacy.net
