Ozone Prevention and Air Quality Action Workshop

Mar 24 2011 - 8:30am - 3:00pm

The Parkland Airshed Management Zone, in partnership with Alberta Environment, the Energy Resources Conservation Board and the City of Red Deer, is hosting an Ozone Prevention workshop.

The theme is the “Action H.E.R.O. Challenge - where Every Action Counts” (Action H.E.R.O. meaning Action for a Healthy Environment by Reducing Ozone). At this workshop:

  • Learn more about ground level ozone and its impacts on our environment.
  • Find out what other sectors are doing to reduce ozone.
  • Share ideas about further actions we can all undertake to reduce ozone.
  • Obtain valuable information about incentive programs and “how to” resources to help you take action to reduce ozone.

The workshop is free and food and refreshments are provided. Everyone is welcome! Please register in advance.
