Canadian Premiere of a Calgary/US-made documentary by a UofC Student Team and Geography Faculty Executive Producer Dr. Conny Davidsen in collaboration with the Emmy® Award-winning film team of PLU Media Lab in Washington State.

The film is not an environmental documentary but approaches the media and politics of the Athabasca Oil/Tar Sands as one of the big political challenges of our time that requires us to bridge existing gaps in polarized debates. It includes interviews with academics, government, industry and environmental groups.

After a successful US premiere, this film is now coming home to Canada. Join us in the celebrations and come to the opening night in downtown Calgary.
