Kill Bill 29 (Alberta Parks Act) Volunteer recruitment & orientation meeting

Dec 16 2010 - 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Take a quick break from studying and/or working and come to this important event! You can be a part of protecting Alberta's parks.

This is your chance to find out more & to volunteer to help your parks now. Find out:

  • What’s wrong with the proposed Alberta Parks Act (Bill 29).
  • Why must it be scrapped completely.
  • Why amendments alone can’t fix it.
  • What a better parks system would look like and how we can build it!
  • How to use your skills & ideas in the campaign

We're in the midst of a crisis for Alberta parks, wildlife and wilderness.

Sierra Club Canada and U of A Council of Canadians are holding this information session for all potentially interested in helping on the Save Our Parks Now campaign during the next 60 days. Building on the momentum gained can’t wait until January.

If you cannot attend but want to volunteer please contact:
