Grid-Tie Solar Systems: A Forum For Solar Installers

Three solar installers and an electrical inspector will be offering short presentations and a panel discussion on issues of interest to the grid inter-tie solar industry.

Some of the topics to be addressed: What is the best approach in analyzing the economics of a grid tied solar PV installation in Alberta? How can we reduce the installed cost of systems going forward? Common mistakes and safety concerns. How can we encourage quality workmanship and integrity in the industry? Micro-inverters vs. string inverters. Best practices for quality roof penetrations. Sourcing equipment. Where is the Alberta solar industry headed?

This seminar will be of interest to members of the solar industry, anyone who would like to be a solar installer, solar systems owners and anyone looking for a solar installer.
