Film Screening: In Transition 2.0

Feb 5 2015 - 6:30pm

From the Local Good website:

Are you getting excited for the inaugural Edmonton Resilience Festival, presented by The Local Good and Edmonton Permaculture Guild? Come start enjoying the festival a few days early, with a screening of In Transition 2.0, a film showing the ongoing triumphs and challenges of participating in the Transition movement.

Transition Initiatives pursue resilience for their communities using the knowledge that “by unleashing the collective genius of those around us … we can build ways of living that are more connected, more enriching and that recognise the biological limits of our planet.” (FromThe Transition Handbook by Rob Hopkins.)

Local Edmonton musicians the Borch Brothers will be providing some fun fiddle tunes starting at 6:30 p.m., so please come early and enjoy!

In Transition 1.0 is free to stream online if you’d like to get on the Transition train before the screening.

Please visit the Edmonton Resilience Festival website for details about more fun and exciting events in the days before and following the screening!

Admission is by donation (suggested $10), members of the Edmonton Permaculture Guild enter free.
