Dreamy Bike Ride & Outdoor Film Screening

Jun 28 2008 - 10:00pm

Imagine, A drive-in movie just for bikes! How Dreamy!

The Bike Tree Collective Presents

The Dreamy Bike Ride 2008!

A night time ride through Calgary, ending in Riley Park for a free film screening.

Bike enthusiasts, local activists, as well as fans of local and Canadian film will come together to celebrate a car-free way to spend a Saturday night. On June 28th, everyone is invited to meet at 10pm at the Olympic Rings in Eau Claire Plaza. Bring your bike, and lots of friends! After a leisurely bike ride through the downtown and Riverside area, bikers will be brought to Riley Park to watch a film screening of You Never Bike Alone (A documentary about Vancouver’s Critical Mass movement), as well as shorts by local Film Makers. There will be a vegan bake sale, refreshments, and free popcorn!

This free, fun, and accessible event is sure to be a swoon-worthy time. The Dreamy Bike Ride 2008 will also be The Bike Tree Collective’s debut event. Stay tuned to hear about more of our awesome bike-focused community events happening this summer!
