Dr Peter Carter, M.D. and Environment & Climate Change Specialist, urges Edmontonians to TAKE ACTION NOW!

Science has shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that eating meat causes major diseases such as heart attack and cancer. But more importantly, the meat industry is directly and indirectly a major contributor to our climate change crisis. Meat production not only increases CO2 in our atmosphere, but also produces deadly poisonous gases such as nitrous oxide and methane.

Dr Carter will be addressing Edmontonians at the “Creating a Healthy Planet with a Plant-Based Diet” seminar on October 24. He believes that the urgency of global warming mandates that each and every one of us have a role to play in climate leadership. Dr Carter maintains that it essential to recognize the positive impact that zero carbon emissions will have in stabilizing atmospheric carbon dioxide levels.

You are invited to attend this free seminar to meet Dr. Carter and to share and learn how becoming a healthy vegetarian vegan and eating wholesome food will turn our current situation around. You will receive a free recipe book and tasty samples of homemade vegan/vegetarian food.
