    Do First Nations with constitutionally protected priority Rights hold the trump card when it comes to unchecked tar sands development? George Poitras addresses the constitutional question as it relates to  major initiatives such as the Lower Athabasca Regional Plan.
  • 7:20 pm  Film: Tubeta Ts'ena - Water is Life
    In this passionate documentary, youth, elders, leaders (First Nation and non-First Nation), hunters and trappers speak about water issues downstream of Alberta's oil sands. This film chronicles the impacts of massive industrial development on water quality, health, globalization, trans-boundary water issues and Aboriginal and Treaty Rights.  (78 min)
