About the Conference

This is the annual conference of the GEOEC (Global, Environmental, and Outdoor Education Council of Alberta), which has partnered with several other groups, including ACEE and the ATA, to bring you this conference.  Teachers and educators from the non-formal sector are invited to attend this conference, which will be a forum to share, celebrate, and promote promising practices for developing engaged global citizens for the 21st Century. Workshops will be listed on-line within a month.

The Recycling Council of Alberta is pleased to announce its 2010 Waste Reduction Conference “Building Tomorrow”, to be held October 13-15, 2010, at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Lake Louise, Alberta.

The conference will feature a wide variety of topics and sessions, and potential speakers are welcome to submit ideas for presentations on waste reduction topics, including progressive ICI and C&D initiatives, zero waste, and other innovative programs and technologies.
