Calgary Environmental Education Tour: Blue Mountain Bio Dynamic Farm

Jul 7 2012 - 9:00am - 2:00pm

Only three days left to purchase tickets for the July 7th The Farm Tour!, presented by Calgary Environmental Education Tours. The Calgary Environmental Education Tours (CEET) is a project developed by the Calgary Folk Festival's Environment Crew and funded by The Arusha Centre's Take Action Grants. The Farm Tour!, the first of four CEET tours, will be to the Blue Mountain Bio Dynamic Farm on Saturday, July 7th from 9 am to 2 pm.

This adventure will include a tour of the Blue Mountain Bio Dynamic Farm, a presentation by Kris Vester (Blue Mountain Bio Dynamic farmer) on sustainable farming, and finally a chance to get your hands dirty working on the farm. Lunch will be served and produce from the farm will be available for purchase.  All lunch options will come from the animals and produce on the farm! The cost for the entire farm adventure - tour, presentation, and lunch - is only $10 and Calgary dollars are accepted at 50%!

We will be departing promptly on Saturday July 7th at 9am from the Calgary Folk Fest office (414 Memorial Drive NE) and arriving back at the office at 2pm. To cut back on carbon, and to meet new friends, we will all be jumping on a school bus and heading to the farm together!  All carbon emissions from the bus will be offset by Less Emissions.

Looking forward to seeing you on the farm!
