When Cougars Meet Humans: Public Opinion, Rural Development & Conservation

Can these large carnivores co-exist with people on a human-dominated
landscape? How does the proximity of cougars and humans influence public
opinion and impact wildlife management?

Aliah Adams Knopff works with her husband, Kyle, on the Central East Slopes
Cougar Study in west-central Alberta. She is working toward a master's in
biological science at the U of A.
