News — 24 June 2009
The 2009 RCEN Annual General Assembly was a resounding success! Thank you to all the participants, speakers, volunteers and sponsors for your support, hard work, energy and enthusiasm before, during and after the event.
This 32nd edition of the AGA gathered over 100 of the country’s top environmentalists at Edmonton's Grant MacEwan College for 5 days of important meetings, strategic planning sessions, speeches, presentations, workshops, awards, dancing and more!
At the June 13th Annual General Meeting, Olivier Kolmel was elected Chair of the National Council and the Board of Directors. He was elected to replace Steve Rison, who is stepping down after steering the RCEN as Chair for over 6 years. Thank you for everything Steve and congratulations to Olivier! More details about the elections will be posted on our website shortly.
