On August 17, 2012, the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) issued the Notice of Hearing for Shell Canada Energy's Jackpine Mine Expansion Project. The hearing is scheduled to begin on October 29, 2012 in Fort McMuuray. In order to file a submission or submit evidence at the hearing, you must file your submission by October 1, 2012.

Sierra Club Prairie Chapter has sponsored a website to help you file your submission or otherwise share your concerns about the proposed Jackpine Mine Expansion.
