Alberta's Environment Conference 2005

The Government of Alberta invites you to learn more about how the
environment is being managed in Alberta. Alberta's Environment Conference
2005 is a cross-ministry initiative profiling key environmental initiatives,
activities and policies of government departments and agencies.
The conference will focus on these themes:


  • Partnering for Success: New partnerships to support environmental management.

  • Sharing Knowledge: New research results, environmental monitoring and reporting and current challenges.

  • Future Trends: The vision for environmental management and resource development, new approaches and strategies for managing Alberta's environment.

  • Programs and Policy: New programs to support environmental management. Government-wide policy development, flexible tools for managing the environment.

Managers, decision-makers, educators and others from industry, municipal
governments, First Nations, non-government environmental organizations and
the public are invited. The conference will include presentations,
discussion panels, poster sessions. It will include theme-based sessions and
opportunities for feedback and discussion.
