Energy Efficiency – Implications for Nonprofits

On August 31, 2016 the Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations and The Pembina Institute will host a half-day session focused on the implications of energy efficiency options and their implications for the nonprofit sector.

As community leaders, the nonprofit sector has the opportunity to be a role model in curbing energy consumption and lowering emissions. At the same time, there is concern within the sector about the potential impact Alberta’s Carbon Levy may have on operating expenses. Read more »
