This third year for AWA's Music for the Wild series features a range of local musicians performing in support of Alberta's wild spaces.

A storyteller in the tradition of Harry Chapin, John Prine and Steve Earle, Rob Heath's original songs are a tasteful mix of contemporary folk, alt-country and pop. His one-man one guitar style is diverse melodically and rhythmically but always interesting. We all have things we wish we could say. Vegans & Vegetarians of Alberta Picnic Potluck

  • Held outside in the park beside Bonnie Doon Community Hall. For a map and directions, click here.
  • 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm (Please arrive between 5:15 and 5:30)
  • Cost: Picnics are free!
  • Each person attending the potluck is asked to bring a vegetarian, vegan or raw dish for at least 6 people, a serving spoon, your own plate and utensils. Thus if two people attend together, they would bring two dishes or one larger dish (eg. a 9 x 13 inch pan).
  • As the picnic tables will be used to serve food, please bring a blanket or camping chair to sit on.  Frisbees are fun for after the meal too!
