Music for the Wild: Magnolia Buckskin with guests Horizon Ridge

Hailed as one of the city’s “leading roots country acts”, Magnolia Buckskin brings you bohemian cowgirl, gospel touched folk roots music with sweet harmonies. Kathy Cook, Natasha Platt, Emily Triggs and Corry Ulan take turns singing the lead on their original tunes. They juggle between instruments: mandolin, banjo, guitar, accordion, bass and percussion. The sound is a collection of their influences: a little bit of country and a hint of West Virginia drawl, the bluegrass sweet spot, the folk connection, and a heart for gospel. Read more »

24th Annual Wild West Gala

Edmonton Solstice Swing: A Celebration of Wildlife and Wild Spaces in Alberta

Music for the Wild: The Wardens with guests Prairie's Edge

The Wardens are three Parks Canada park wardens sharing their stories through song. Backcountry horse patrols, mountain rescues and wildlife conflict all provide inspiration for these singing wardens whose “tales of adventure and misadventure” in the rocky mountain national parks have been set to music and verse. REAP Down to Earth Week: Film Screening — And This Is My Garden
