Vermilion River Watershed Open House

ReThink Red Deer Community Cafe

At Edmonton Seedy Sunday we hope to promote and protect biodiversity, support seed savers and open pollinated/organic/heritage seed vendors.

What is Edmonton Seedy Sunday?

Swap some of your seeds for seeds that somebody else has donated. Donations of seeds are welcome.

There will be open pollinated/organic/heritage seed vendors a gardening displays kid's table, gardening book and magazine exchange, speakers and a Seedy Cafe.

Sustainability Awareness Week 2010 (SAW)

A week-long celebration, with more than 60 events, coordinated by the Office of Sustainability with help from 30+ student groups and campus organizations.

The goal of the week is to educate our campus community on how to become more aware of sustainability issues, learn more about campus sustainability and develop sustainability skills of their own.

Vegans & Vegetarians of Alberta Membership Drive

VVoA will host a display at Earth General Store where new members can sign up and receive a membership card.  Every new member receives a **FREE**  frozen coconut bar!

All organic, Fair Trade or local where possible.

Special fundraising event during the month of October at Earth's General Store.

EGS manager, Michael Kalmanovitch, has offered to donate 5% of every purchase made by any VVoA member showing their membership card.
